2007
Shaigoo Studios was born out of a spark ignited when Kasper Sonesson (Founder) first visited China at the age of 14 with his father, Thomas. Since 1999, Thomas had been working with manufacturing in China for his own business and wanted to introduce Kasper to the vast opportunities that the country and its network of manufacturers could offer.
That eye-opening trip left a lasting impression on Kasper, inspiring him to dive deeper into the world of manufacturing. After finishing high school, Kasper took a leap of faith, buying a one-way ticket to Shenzhen, South China, to embark on his entrepreneurial journey.
2015
Six months of immersive internships and hands-on learning in product manufacturing laid the foundation for Kasper to start his own company, Shaigoo.
The name “Shaigoo” is inspired by the Chinese words 超过 (Chāoguò), meaning “Go Beyond,” and 差异 (Chāyì), meaning “Difference.” These words reflect the core mission of Shaigoo: to go beyond expectations and make a difference for every client we serve.
2017
Word quickly spread back home in Sweden about a Swedish-led team managing product development and manufacturing in Asia. With increasing inquiries from businesses looking for comprehensive supply-chain solutions, Kasper saw an opportunity to create an all-in-one platform.
Creating an local and experienced in China with Swedish management, Shaigoo Studios was established. Shaigoo became a full-service supply chain agency, offering expertise in product sourcing, manufacturing, design, quality inspection, warehousing, and logistics.
Today, Shaigoo operates offices in China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Sweden, with production partners across China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe.
